We would like to invite applications at the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital for one position of research fellowship for a neuropsychiatrist or/and pediatric neurologist for the project “An integrated specialist web network for early screening and care of neurodevelopmental disorders”.

Requirements Medicine degree with child neuropsychiatrist, neuropsychiatry or pediatric neurology specialization and experience with data entry. The project aims to create a network for sharing clinical data to develop predictive models to facilitate the understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders and the definition of the best therapies. The Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital will work to identify data that will be included in the sharing database.

Specifically, the main activities will involve collecting information useful for early screening and intervention on neurodevelopmental disorders.
The data will include (but not limited to) the following: medical history data, information from the neuropsychiatric evaluation, and results obtained via the administration of standardized tests. The researchers' main tasks will be the development of the common data model for neurodevelopmental disorders, as described above, and the standardization of collection procedures so as to speed up the completion of the database.

Previous certified research experience in the project area will be considered an advantage. Interpersonal skills, aptitude for teamwork, and problem solving skills will be considered preferred characteristics. The position will be assigned to the successful candidate. The position and salary will depend on the qualification and experience, roughly around 1,800 euros per month without taxes.
