We would like to invite applications at the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital for one position of research fellowship for the project “Molecular typing and genomic characterization of Enterobacterales and Pseudomonas aeruginosa producers of VIM-type carbapenemases isolated from pediatric patients”.
Master’s degree in one of the following fields is required: Biology, Medical Biotechnology or Medicine and Surgery.
Applicants should preferably have a professional registration Specialization in Microbiology and Virology or previous certified research experience in relevant to the field of the project would be considered an advantage as well as a Bioinformatics or Biostatistics training.
Autonomy in data analysis aimed at a scientific output is requested. Interpersonal relationship skills, accuracy and attention to details, predisposition to teamwork, strong results orientation and problem solving skills will be considered preferential characteristics.
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and of another language is required.
Availability is required from Monday to Friday, full time.
A research position will be awarded to the successful candidate. Position and salary will depend on qualification and experience.
