We would like to invite applications at the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital for two positions of research fellowship for the project “An integrated specialist web network for early screening and care of neurodevelopmental disorders”.

The project aims to establish a network for sharing clinical data to develop predictive models that facilitate the understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders and the definition of the best therapies.

The Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital will work to identify the type of data that will be included in the sharing database.
In particular, the main activities will be collecting the information that serves to define predictive models for Down Syndrome.
 

The data will include (but not limited to) the followings: anamnestic data, information from the neuropsychiatric evaluation, data obtained via the administration of standardized tests.
The main duties for the researchers will be developing in detail the common data model for Down syndrome, as described above, and standardizing the collection procedures in a way to accelerate the database completion.

The position will be appointed to two psychologists or neuropsychiatrists.
Previous certified research experience in relevant to the field of the project would be considered an advantage. Interpersonal relationship skills, predisposition to teamwork and problem solving skills will be considered preferential characteristics.

Availability is required from Monday to Friday, full time. Two research positions will be awarded to the successful candidates.

Position and salary will depend on qualification and experience.
