We would like to invite applications at the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital for three positions of research fellowship for the project titled “Ultra High Field Magnetic Resonance Imaging in the characterization of potential diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for central and peripheral neurological pathology of the developmental age”.
The position will be appointed to a MSc Biomedical Engineers/physicist/mathematician.
The profile require experience in:
- Programming skills (Matlab, python, C++)
- Bash scripting in Linux
- Experience on MRI scanner acquisition
- Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills
- Producing sophisticated and professional presentation.
In particular, the profile must perform the following key functions:
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code (Python and C++) for preprocessing and statistical analysis
- Supporting the collection and visualization of acquired data
- Write the final article about the project.
Previous certified research experience in relevant to the field of the project would be considered an advantage. Interpersonal relationship skills, predisposition to teamwork and problem solving skills will be considered preferential characteristics.
Availability is required from Monday to Friday, full time. Three research positions will be awarded to the successful candidate for 12 months.
